BodyTite works by combining skin tightening and fat remodeling technology. The device uses radiofrequency thermal energy to target fat reduction and collagen production. The thermal energy is delivered under the skin through a tiny incision. The fat is emulsified, and collagen is increased simultaneously during the treatment. This dual effect shrinks targeted fat deposits while stimulating skin tightening for loose skin.
BodyTite Liposuction
BodyTite is a minimally-invasive treatment that can be used with or without liposuction. Liposuction can remove the emulsified fat cells for patients with larger fat deposits. Small incisions are made with this procedure, but the treatment can be performed with only local anesthesia for fewer risks and a quicker recovery. The small BodyTite applicator is inserted under the skin to target fat and the deeper layers of skin. Since the incisions are very small, there is little to no visible scarring after the procedure.
BodyTite does require some downtime and recovery after the procedure, but it is a quicker recovery than traditional liposuction surgery. Patients will need to wear a compression garment and rest for 5-7 days after their procedure. The results are noticeable as the swelling dissipates, but the final results will take 4-6 months to be apparent as the skin tightens with increased collagen and repair.
